СТРУКТУРА УГРУПОВАНЬ ЯЛИНОВИХ ЛІСІВ БЕРЕЗНЯНСЬКОГО ЛІСНИЦТВА ФІЛІЇ “ЧЕРНІГІВСЬКЕ ЛІСОВЕ ГОСПОДАРСТВО” ДП “ЛІСИ УКРАЇНИ”

Abstract

During expeditionary field research in 2023-2025 in the 38th quarter of the Berezna Forestry of the Chernihiv Forestry Branch of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine", on the outskirts of the village of Berezna, we discovered a group of spruce forests confined to the association EuPiceetum (Cajander 1921) Keilland-Lund 1967 of the union Piceion excelsae Pawłowski et al. 1928 of the order Piceetalia excelsae Pawłowski et al. 1928 of the class Vaccinio-Piceetea Br.-Bl. in Br.-Bl. et al. 1939 with rare species of flora of various protection status. The groups discovered during field research are valuable in view of the fact that plantations with the participation of Picea abies (L.) Karst. are located at the southern border of their range and are rarely found in the research area, mainly in small fragmentary areas. In the identified groups, we recorded natural regeneration, which indicates the natural origin of the young spruce forest.
