Abstract
Determining the type of filtration unit and the optimal value of the ACR (Air-to-Cloth
Ratio) coefficient is crucial for effective prevention of dust pollution in industrial premises. However, the
absence of a universal method for calculating ACR complicates the design of effective aspiration systems.
The paper provides a comparative analysis of the main types of filters (cyclonic, bag, cartridge), their
technical characteristics and application features. The need to improve the method for determining the
filtration area and the load on the filter fabric is substantiated.
