Abstract

To preserve and reproduce biotic and landscape diversity, it is necessary to form a nature reserve fund. Currently, only 2.52% of the territory of Eastern Podillia is included in the nature reserve fund. Therefore, it is proposed to create new protected areas, which will bring the region closer to the requirements of the European Union, where 30% of all terrestrial, coastal and marine ecosystems must be under effective protection and management in networks of interconnected nature reserves
