ОСОБЛИВОСТІ СТАЛОГО РОЗВИТКУ РЕКРЕАЦІЙНОЇ ІНФРАСТРУКТУРИ “ПОЛОНИНА БОРЖАВА”

Abstract

The features of sustainable development of recreational infrastructure “Polonyna Borzhava” are considered as one of the most valuable natural areas of the Ukrainian Carpathians, which is distinguished by a high level of natural integrity, landscape diversity and significant recreational potential. This mountain range extends within the Transcarpathian region and includes a number of highaltitude meadows, sparse forests, watershed ridges and unique ecosystems that have preserved the characteristic features of the natural environment. It is argued that ecologically unjustified mass motorized tourism leads to significant soil erosion, degradation and loss of biotic diversity, and a decrease in ecosystem services in the region
