| dc.description.abstract | The study presents an assessment of the aggregated indicator of the soil cover condition
within the protected areas of the Zgar River basin. The research integrates physico-chemical, hygienic,
and biological parameters using a score-based evaluation method. Exceedances of maximum permissible
concentrations of heavy metals were identified in riparian zones, particularly near agricultural lands.
The aggregated index values indicate a predominantly satisfactory or unsatisfactory state of the soils.
