| dc.description | The article presents the ecological and geographical characteristics of the protected areas of the Zgar river
basin, which covers an area of 1170 km2 and belongs to the Southern Bug river basin. This is due to the need
to preserve biotic and landscape diversity in the face of increasing anthropogenic pressure on various types of
natural ecosystems within the basin. The studied area is distinguished by its unique natural resources, which
perform important ecological, water protection and social functions. The landscape feature of the Zgar river
basin is significant forest cover (40.16% of the catchment area) and wetlands (6.1%). However, intensive economic
activity, which is caused by significant agricultural development of the basin, the development of residential areas
and global climate change, leads to the degradation of various types of natural ecosystems and threatens the
preservation of the entire unique biotic diversity of the studied region. In today’s conditions, studying the state
of protected areas, their impact on ecological balance, as well as determining ways to optimize environmental
protection measures is an important stage in the development of strategies for the preservation of protected
areas. Analysis of the ecological and geographical features of protected areas and territories of the Zgar river
basin will allow assessing their potential in the context of sustainable development of territorial communities
of the East-Podilskyi region, ensuring environmental stability and increasing the effectiveness of environmental

| dc.description.abstract | В статті подана еколого-географічна характеристика заповідних об'єктів басейну річки Згар, площа якого становить 1170 км² і належить до басейну річки Південний Буг. Це зумовлено необхідністю
збереження біотичного і ландшафтного різноманіття в умовах зростаючого антропогенного навантаження на різні види природних екосистем в межах басейну. Досліджувана територія вирізняється
своїми унікальними природними ресурсами, які виконують важливі екологічні, водоохоронні і соціальні
функції. Ландшафтною особливістю басейну річки Згар є значна лісистість (40,16% території водозбору) і заболоченість (6,1%). Проте інтенсивна господарська діяльність, яка спричинена значним
сільськогосподарським освоєнням території басейну, розвитком селитебних територій та глобальні
зміни клімату призводять до деградації різних видів природних екосистем і ставлять під загрозу збереження всього унікального біотичного різноманіття досліджуваного регіону. В умовах сьогодення
вивчення стану заповідних об'єктів, їхнього впливу на екологічну рівновагу, а також визначення шляхів
оптимізації природоохоронних заходів є важливим етапом у розробці стратегій збереження заповідних територій. Аналіз еколого-географічних особливостей заповідних об’єктів і територій басейну
річки Згар дозволить оцінити їхній потенціал у контексті сталого розвитку територіальних громад
Східно-Подільського регіону, забезпечити екологічну стабільність та підвищити ефективність природоохоронної діяльності. | uk_UA |
