Abstract

The article considers the current challenges associated with the preservation of coastal aquatic vegetation of small rivers of Ukraine in the conditions of military operations. The main ecological threats are highlighted, in particular the destruction of biotopes, the loss of rare species and the complications of monitoring. Approaches to the protection and restoration of aquatic vegetation in the postwar period are proposed.
