The theses consider the importance of developing competencies in the field of ecotechnologies for managers in the context of modern global transformations, in particular climate change,
ecosystem degradation and resource instability. The role of digital information technologies in the
educational process is discussed, which allows achieving high cognitive and analytical involvement of
students through simulation modules and integration of environmental assessment tools. It is proposed to
revise existing programs, include new courses and use immersive digital platforms. Recommendations
are formulated for the development of digital educational environments that will facilitate the integration
of environmental education into management.
