The work highlights the importance of woodlands as a stable food base for honey bees.
Particular attention is paid to entomophilous species, in particular, narrow-leaved honeysuckle and
common goldenrod, which provide bees with nectar and pollen in the late vegetation period. The results
of observations on flowering times, duration of nectar secretion and the influence of plants on the increase in the strength of bee colonies are presented. The feasibility of preserving and expanding the areas
of natural honey flora in forest biocenoses is substantiated.
