Дослідження проводилося з метою аналізу циркуляції азоту в штабелі з біологічним добривом та оцінки потенційної кількості азоту, що стікає із штабеля у грунтові води. На основі проведених досліджень встановлено, що втрати азоту в результаті витоку з гнойовою рідиною коливаються від 38,1 до 48,1%. Тому неефективне зберігання гною збільшує антропогенне навантаження на природні екосистеми, що негативно впливає на якість води.
